Last week, members of the Suttonians RFC community came together to take an important step in shaping the future of our club.

Following months of consultation through Town Halls, workshops, focus groups, and a club-wide survey involving more than 300 members, players, volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters, we were proud to officially present Pathway 101 — Suttonians RFC's strategic plan for the years ahead.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who attended the presentation and to all those who contributed their ideas, feedback, and perspectives throughout the process. This strategy has been built by the club, for the club.

Throughout the evening, we shared our vision of becoming a leading, inclusive rugby club that competes successfully and sustainably while remaining deeply rooted in and valued by our community.

We also outlined our mission: to welcome, develop, and support players, members, and volunteers through rugby by creating clear pathways, strengthening community connections, and building structures that enable the club to thrive.

At the heart of Pathway 101 are eight strategic priorities that will guide our focus over the coming years:

These eight goals provide a clear roadmap for the future and will help ensure Suttonians continues to grow both on and off the pitch.

However, the launch of Pathway 101 is not the finish line — it is the starting point.

The real work begins now.

Over the coming weeks, working groups will be established across each strategic area, bringing together members from across the club to help turn ambition into action. The success of Pathway 101 will depend on the collective efforts of our entire community.
