OK than listen up, big news from the club! 🏉🔥

Our Men’s Senior 1st Team have powered their way into the Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Metropolitan Cup Final and now comes the Big one, they face off against UCD on Friday 24th April at 8pm in Donnybrook and they’ll need every bit of support that we can muster. This is proper Friday night lights stuff. Big hits, big carries, and hopefully a big BIG win.

And if you missed last Friday’s semi final in Station Road, you missed a storm in every sense of the word. A mini tornado struck Sunny Sutton by the Sea, howling winds & sideways rain & sleet , and somehow still a cracking game of rugby. A match report is available HERE but reading it, I wonder if the author took refuge in the bar rather than the side lines? WE say Fair play to both teams, the match officials & supporters for braving that night, it was less a “game of rugby” and more a “battle for survival.”

Now we swap the storm for the spotlight. Let’s get as much support as possible to Donnybrook, bring the noise, and get behind the lads as they chase silverware. A great Friday night’s rugby is guaranteed.
