Sat 18th April, saw our U11’s squad recently travelled to Clongowes Wood College to take part in a highly enjoyable and competitive U11 Blitz, facing strong opposition across four well-fought matches.

The day kicked off with a spirited performance against Garryowen, where the team showed great energy and organisation from the outset. This was followed by a challenging encounter with Galway Corinthians, testing both skill and resilience. The third game against Navan saw the players continue to grow into the tournament, demonstrating improved teamwork and confidence with ball in hand.

The final fixture against Naas proved to be a fitting end to the blitz, with the squad giving a determined and committed performance right through to the final whistle.

Across all four games, the players displayed excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and a real enthusiasm for the game. The blitz provided a valuable opportunity for development and, most importantly, was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.
