It has been a busy summer for Suttonians RFC at provincial level, with a strong group of our youth players representing Leinster across the U17 and U18 age grades.
Three Suttonians Retain Places for Leinster Clubs U18s
As highlighted last week, three Suttonians players were selected in the Leinster Clubs U18 Interprovincial squad for their opening fixture against Ulster Clubs.
Following an impressive victory over Ulster last weekend, we are delighted to see all three players retain their respective positions for the next round of the Interprovincial series.
Jed Connolly will once again start at openside flanker, while Cian MacDonald and Sirio Scalabrino Noone have both been named among the replacements.
It is fantastic to see all three continue to represent Suttonians at provincial level, and everyone at the club wishes them the very best for this weekend's fixture.

Our U18 representatives are not the only Suttonians players making their mark with Leinster this summer.
Five members of our 2010 age-grade team have been working hard throughout the summer as part of the Leinster Clubs U17 programme:
- Steven Kingswood – St Fintan's High School
- Rex Dunleavy – Belvedere College
- Ben Keating – Belvedere College
- Henry James – St Andrew's College
- Tavish Stokes – St Fintan's High School
All five represented Suttonians RFC and Leinster Clubs U17s at Tuesday's U17 Interprovincial Blitz, another fantastic achievement for the players and their coaches.
Suttonians currently have nine players involved across the Leinster Clubs U17 and U18 programmes, with two of our U18 representatives competing a full age grade above their own.

Provincial and representative rugby has long been an important part of the history of Suttonians RFC.
Over the years, the club has produced players who have represented Leinster Clubs and Schools as well as Irish Clubs and Schools, with former representatives including Ian Keatley, Rory Litchfield, Andrew Feeney, Darragh Kelly, Sean Cribbin and current Munster tighthead prop Jack Aungier, among many others.
It is brilliant to see the next generation of Suttonians players continuing that tradition.
The entire club and wider Suttonians community would like to congratulate all of our provincial representatives on their achievements this summer. Their selection is a reflection of the work they have put in, as well as the support of their coaches, teammates and families along the way.
We wish all of our players the very best as they finish out the Interprovincial series and look forward to following their continued progress.
