๐Ÿ‰ Introducing Suttonians Mixed Ability Tag Rugby

Suttonians RFC is delighted to announce the launch of our new Mixed Ability Tag Rugby programme, beginning on Sunday, 1 November 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Station Road.

This exciting new initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to making rugby more accessible and inclusive within our local community.

We are particularly keen to connect with individuals and families from Sutton, Howth, Baldoyle and the surrounding communities who may be interested in getting involved.

The countdown is almost over! Our annual Suttonians RFC Business Lunch takes place this Friday, 23 October, at the Marine Hotel, Sutton.

We're looking forward to welcoming our valued sponsors, local businesses, club members and guests from across our community for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon.

Commencing at 1:30 PM, the event will feature two distinguished guest speakers:

๐Ÿ† AIL Junior Cup Returns โ€“ A Special Occasion in Kilfeacle

This Saturday, our Senior Men's First XV travel to Tipperary for the opening round of the AIL Junior Cup, where they will face Kilfeacle & District RFC, champions of the 2025/26 Munster League.

While the fixture promises to be an exciting challenge on the pitch, the occasion will carry an even greater significance for both clubs.

A special presentation will take place in loving memory of our former Club President and player, Simon English, who sadly passed away earlier this month.

Simon proudly represented both Kilfeacle RFC and Suttonians RFC during his rugby career, creating a lasting connection between the two clubs.

Saturday will provide an opportunity for players, members, supporters and the wider rugby community to come together to remember Simon, celebrate his contribution to both clubs and show their continued support for the English family.

It promises to be a memorable occasion, reflecting the friendships and connections that make rugby such a special community.

๐Ÿ† U18s Prepare for Cup Semi-Final Showdown

The cup rugby doesn't stop on Saturday!

On Sunday, our U18s travel to Barnhall RFC to face DLSP in their Cup Semi-Final, with a place in the final up for grabs.

It's a fantastic opportunity for our young players to build on their early-season progress and put themselves in contention for silverware before Christmas.

Cup competitions at this stage of the season can provide a huge boost to a squad's confidence and momentum. We saw this first-hand last season when our Senior Men's team lifted the Spencer Cup before Christmas, helping to lay the foundations for further success.

Our U18s now have the opportunity to create their own memorable cup run, and we're looking forward to seeing them rise to the challenge this Sunday.

  • Competition: Cup Semi-Final

We encourage the entire Suttonians community to get behind our U18s this weekend. Whether you're a fellow player, parent, coach or club member, your support can make a real difference.

Best of luck to all the players and coaches as they look to book their place in the final!

๐Ÿ”ต๐ŸŸข One Club, One Community

From launching new opportunities for people to experience rugby, to bringing our local business community together and supporting our teams in cup competition, it's another busy and exciting week at Suttonians RFC.

These are the people, events and initiatives that make our club so much more than what happens on the pitch.

Thank you to all our members, volunteers, sponsors, coaches and supporters who continue to make it possible.
