Suttonians RFC is delighted to invite our members, sponsors and local business community to the Suttonians Business Lunch 2026, taking place at the Marine Hotel, Sutton on Friday, 23 October.

The afternoon will bring together many of the businesses that already support Suttonians while also welcoming new businesses into our community.

Our club is built on strong connections both on and off the pitch. The Business Lunch is an opportunity to strengthen those relationships, create new ones and showcase the value the Suttonians community can offer local businesses, all while supporting the continued development of our club.

Bernard Jackman

We are delighted to welcome Bernard Jackman, former Ireland and Leinster hooker, international coach and leading rugby analyst, as one of our guest speakers.

From playing at the highest level to coaching internationally and working as one of the leading voices in Irish rugby, Bernard brings a wealth of experience across professional sport, leadership and high-performance environments.

Dr. Ciaran Cosgrave

Joining Bernard will be Dr. Ciaran Cosgrave, Director of UPMC Sports Medicine and the UPMC Institute for Health, and one of Ireland's leading consultants in Sports & Exercise Medicine.

With over 20 years of experience in elite sport, Dr. Cosgrave has worked across rugby, soccer, athletics, basketball, karate and judo, as well as being part of the medical team at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

His rugby experience includes serving as Head of Medical for the British & Irish Lions' 2025 Tour to Australia, alongside previous medical roles with the Irish Men's Rugby Team (2016–2024), the British & Irish Lions (2021) and Leinster Rugby. He has also worked with the Liverpool FC Academy.

The afternoon will be hosted by our very own Gordon Linehan, bringing together what promises to be an entertaining and insightful conversation.
